As part of our commitment to customers, more than $50 million has been spent upgrading facilities at all suburban stations.
This includes the introduction of 61 Premium Stations in the past three years.
Premium Stations are fully refurbished, and;

Also, all stations are now equipped with free-call, push button audio communication links that provide customer information and emergency assistance, public address systems announcing next train details. And public telephones, (phonecard connected). To encourage motorists to travel by train, there are now more than 27, 500 car parking spaces at train stations right across the suburban network.

In addition, there are more than 300 Customer Service Employees travelling on the public transport system to assist and make your journey a more pleasant experience. Safe travelling remains a priority. The Victoria Police now has more than 200 staff dedicated to their Transit Police Division. |
Their officers are specialists and have a thorough working knowledge of the metropolitan train system.
They have the back-up and support of the entire Victoria Police force with local police patrolling stations and trains as part of their regular schedules.
