Route 517 "E" - Northland to St. Helena East:

Departs from the terminus at Northland Shopping Centre, Bus Bay No.3 and runs via Hannah Street, Murray Road, Southern Road, Waiora Road, Lower Plenty Road and Turnham Avenue to Rosanna Railway Station. Then via Turnham Avenue, Station Road, Rosanna Road, Banyule Road, Rutherford Road, Winston Road, Martins Lane, Castleton Road, Rockaway Drive, Broadlea Crescent, Lower Plenty Road, Yallambie Road, Elonera Avenue, Elder Street, Henry Street, Grimshaw Street, Main Street, St. Helena Road, Karingal Drive, Weidlich Road, Progress Road, Ryans Road, St. Clems Street, Weidlich Road, St. Helena Road, Wallowa Road, Allendale Road, Parry Road to the terminus at the corner of Parry and Ryans Roads.

Route 517 - St. Helena East to Northland:

Departs from the terminus at the corner of Parry Road and Ryans Road and runs via Ryans Road, Progress Road, Weidlich Road, Karingal Drive, St. Helena Road to Main Street. Then via the reverse of the route described above to the terminus at Northland Shopping Centre, Bus Bay No.3.

Route 517 "W" - Northland to St. Helena West:

Departs from the terminus at Northland Shopping Centre, Bus Bay No.3 and runs via Hannah Street, Murray Road, Southern Road, Waiora Road, Lower Plenty Road and Turnham Avenue to Rosanna Railway Station. Then via Turnham Avenue, Station Road, Rosanna Road, Banyule Road, Rutherford Road, Winston Road, Martins Lane, Castleton Road, Rockaway Drive, Broadlea Crescent, Lower Plenty Road, Yallambie Road, Elonera Avenue, Elder Street, Henry Street, Grimshaw Street, Main Street, St. Helena Road, Aqueduct Road, Marine Way, Sunrise Drive and Beales Lane to the terminus at the corner of Beales Lane and Allumba Drive.

Route 517 - St. Helena West to Northland:

Departs from the terminus at the corner of Beales Lane and Allumba Drive and runs via Allumba Drive, St. Helena Road to Main Street then the reverse of the route described above to the terminus at Northland Shopping Centre, Bus Bay No.3.

Customers Please Note:

  • Trips marked "M" indicate the buses pick up at Martins Ln. to LaTrobe Sec.College
  • Times marked "S" indicate the bus deviates from normal route along St. Helena Road to St. Helena Secondary College on school days only.
  • Times marked "T" indicate buses arrive at Greensborough at least 5 minutes prior to the City train departure time shown on timetable
  • Trips marked "W" indicate buses operate to St. Helena West.
  • Trips marked "E" indicate buses operate to St. Helena East.
  • Most buses from St. Helena to Northland will arrive at Greensborough and wait several minutes before departing at the time shown on the timetable. The actual travelling time between St. Helena West and Greensborough is about 11 minutes.
  • There is no service on Sundays or Public holidays.
  • Times may be subject to alteration without notice.
  • A special timetable operates during the Christmas Holiday Period.
